Equipment

  • 1 Large bowl
  • 1 Small microwave-proof bowl
  • 1 Small pot
  • 1 Medium-sized bowl

Ingredients

Base

Caramel

  • 60 ml / ¼ cup Coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp Peanut butter
  • 60 ml / ¼ cup Maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • 5 ml / 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Topping

Instructions

Make base

  1. Line a baking dish with baking paper. In a large bowl combine the Double chocolate DIY ball mix and coconut oil. Mix well then transfer to the lined baking dish, press the mixture down firmly and evenly. Place in the freezer while you make the caramel.

Make caramel

  1. Add the coconut oil, peanut butter and maple syrup to a small microwave-proof bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, then whisk until smooth. Add the salt and vanilla and stir to combine. Pour over the cooled base, using a spatula to spread it evenly over the surface. Place back in the freezer to cool while you make the topping.

Make topping

  1. Heat the coconut cream in a small pot on medium heat until hot, not boiling. Roughly chop the Mylk peanut clusters then add to a medium-sized bowl and pour over the hot coconut cream. Set aside for 3 minutes, then gently whisk until the chocolate is smooth and well combined.

Finish slice

  1. Gently spread the topping over the caramel layer and carefully smooth it out using the spatula until evenly spread. Place back in the fridge for 2 hours, or until set.
